Upcycle Labs have an ongoing partnership with ASDA and one project was to re-produce one of their most popular home decor products from fashion waste.
ASDA originally imported their Family Sign home décor ornament from China. They challenged Upcycle Labs to make an identical product from the fashion waste collected through the George Take Back programme, powered by Yellow Octopus Group.

This sign is made from 75% fashion waste at Upcycle Labs in Nottingham, UK.
Not only were Upcycle Labs able to produce an identical product, but we also managed to match the landed price of the imported product.
The result was a new product which is made in the UK and saves fashion waste from landfill. All while generating the same profit margin.
