Q. What is the cost?
A. There is a comparable cost with landfill. This is a standard cost for secure and documented processing, irrespective of material.
Q. How much waste is used in the upcycling process?
A. Whilst we re-process 100% of the goods sent to us, we guarantee 75% of each item produced is manufactured from your waste. The remaining 25% is sustainable binding agents.
Q. What is the process?
A. The Upcycle Labs process works by receiving your waste, where it is weighed and billed accordingly, then processed. Our skilled design team can then liaise with you in the products to be reinstated back into your brand.
Q. What products can you take?
A. We can process all un-sorted textiles, packaging, fragrance and beauty waste.
Q. Does product need to be sorted?
A. Our unique patent-pending process means we do not sort so metal, leather, fabric and plastic is all processed and upcycled together.
Q. What products can be made out of our waste?
A. With the Upcycle Labs process it’s possible to make virtually any product for example shop fittings or retail display to go back into store, or interior decor products for re-sale. The important aspect is that at the end of life of these products they can then go back into the process and be 100% up-cycled further into something new, again and again.
Q. Do I get certification of the disposal of my stock?
A. Yes – your stock is received, weighed and processed, whereupon a destruction certificate is issued giving time and date for your records.
Q. Can we upcycle the products made by you again?
A. Yes – at the end of life of these products they can then go back into the process and be 100% up-cycled further into something new, again and again.
